Mystic Mile, Wednesdays 3-6 PM CST KZUM 89.3 FM, Lincoln, NE “Every now and then a CD comes out that from the first few chords, to the end of the last cut, the sound comming out of the speakers grabs you by both ears and doesn’t let go. That’s the case of the CD “Mythology” by James Grant. From the dazzling fretwork to the mastery of the finished product, this man is the complete package.”
Gary Hoey, OHM and James Grant Rock the Coach House By Revn Kevin Starting the initial musical volley tonight was the James Grant Band. James and his band played a great set of trippy, trance rock in the style of older Pink Floyd. James is also a phenomenal guitarist with a bluesy feel and knows how to play notes for effect – not speed. It’s not how many notes in a bar but how many of them grab you. Playing tracks off of his “Mythology” CD they seemed to lead into each other and made for a very warm feeling set. “James has an extraordinary ability… he is world class and unique…every now and then an industry is privileged to witness the rise of prominence of a truly influential talent. James Grant is just such an individual.” ‘ Small Mercies  is one of the finest indie CD’s I have ever heard.”
‘His raw talent is something I have seldom witnessed in my number of years in the industry, his work places him in the handful of Canada’s most preeminent forces in music.”
His success is no fluke but rather the just rewards for a supremely talented musician’.
I received the CD Mythology by James Grant about a month ago. I have recently reviewed it. I have to say I have rarely heard a guitar player quite as talented as James. His guitar playing ability is amazing’.
